Oil color series - Lilli Part1

Here's one of three oil paintings I made in school. It was sixth drawing and painting course I've taken and the main idea of it was to fulfil somekind of artwork using techniques of own choice, only one word was given that should somehow relate to the work, "suhde" (=relation / proportions).
Sooo.. I decided to paint three oil paintings of my dear dog Lilli, who had few months ago tumour operation. Even though she seemed to recover well from it, the tumour has now grown back and it really doesn't seem so good...
Oil colors I chose 'cause I think they're one of my strongest techniques. And I really did put effort in this course, which got me my first 10 in visual arts from senior secondary school ( and it's an art school ;] ).

This is the first part of my painting series (even though I did this one last).
Lilli is about three weeks there, playing with fluffy toy =]
She was almost entirely black at those times but I had to make some light on her so I used more white.
